The Factory
Mike Cooper looked at 17,000 square feet of empty warehouse space!
That is not was he and the leadership of Fairmont West Virginia's
Trinity Assembly Church saw!
There was something more! That empty space could offer a positive
choice for youth in community and surrounding areas.
A dream was in leaders hearts and the empty space began to change!
The result of five years work is staggering! The space is now called
"The Factory" a drug-free, alcohol-free, and violence-free environment
for youth! In that 17,000 square feet is now:
*2 large Video screens;
*9 TV's with video games;
*Forbes Field Batting Cage;
*Indoor Basketball/Volleyball Court;
*Pool table hall;
*Snack Shop;
*Old Fashioned Break Area that seats 88;
*Climbing Wall;
*and full sound and DJ booth.
Still to come in the days ahead:
*9,000 more square feet to develop;
*2 more batting cages;
*Putt-putt golf course
*indoor golf driving range.
The first year of the 21st Century over 17,000 youth
attended 'The Factory.'

Would you like a place like this in your town?
Some people would see empty space; Mike Cooper and
the Trinity leadership saw 'The Factory.'
What do you see?
Look for what can be done!
Former United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy
often said, "Some men see things as they are and say 'why'.
I see things as they can be and say 'why not'.
It's time to look higher and be more creative in the work of
leadership. Colossians 3: 2 & 10 (KJV) says, "Set your affection on
things above, not on things on the earth. And have put on the
new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him
that created him."
When you go through Fairmont, West Virginia, stop by the great
campus of Trinity Assembly on 70 Maranatha Drive. You will find
one of the best youth centers in the world.
There is a 'Factory' waiting for you! There is a DREAM waiting to
fill empty places in you and around you.
DREAM ON!
