Honk, Honk, Honk

The noise was loud above me in the sky! "Honk,
honk, honk." There were some large geese flying
together.  There were over 50 birds flying in a
"V" formation!

Here is what I found out about those birds flying
in the "V" formation:

(1) As each bird flaps his wings he creates an
uplift for the bird behind him!

(2) By flying in the "V," it adds at least 71%
greater flying range than for birds flying alone.

(3) If a goose happens to fall out of the formation,
they immediately feel the air resistance of flying
alone.

(4) When the flying goose becomes weary, they
rotate to the back of the "V" formation and
another goose steps up to a lead position.

(5) The "Honk" sound encourages those flying
ahead of others to keep up their flying speed.
Each goose has a responsibility to go a
certain speed!

What kind of people do you have in your life?

Do those you let near you have energy to
help you fly high?

The 'prodigal son' is a story of a young man
who left his Father's home!  He went on his
own, alone!  The goal was to breakaway.
People used him to spend his inheritance.
When the money was gone, so were the
friends.

What kind of friends are those people?

Real friends stay with you when you go
through your hardest times.  Real friends
help you find solutions to the mistakes
you have made.

The story ends with a broken young man
dreaming about life and activities back
in his father's house! Luke 15:17 & 18 quotes
the young man saying, "At home even
the hired men have food enough and to spare,
and here I am dying of hunger!  I will go
home to my father and say to him, 'Father,
I have sinned against both heaven and you."

No one can make it on their own.  You need
a support system of friends who help you in
mind, spirit and body to go forward.  Real
friendship has greater value than any
money!

The right people around you will help you in
a "V" formation for living.  

What is the destination of the group of people
you are with?

Fly with the right group!  There isn't a greater
lift in life!  you can get to the place you need
to be on the inside and outside of you!

When you have good people around you,
they will cheer you on!  "V" will be for
Victory!
