Today (03/21/06), I sent out a couple
packages in the mail. I wanted to let a couple people know I was thinking
about them. I am thankful and
appreciate them. I had to let them know. I had
talked about them in a leadership seminar (03/18/06). My greatest
leadership power is not just my words in public, but my actions in private. Who we are is not who we say we are! Who we are is defined by what we do. The words of Janet Woittz are strong, “Part of having a strong sense of self is to be accountable for one's actions. No matter how much we explore motives or lack of motives, we are what we do.” Consider this, Less talk, More actions. We all can, Listen more, Talk less. Do what you say. What you say, do! Listen to people! Hear their words and their heart! The more you know about people you can love, encourage, and give to them. One person at a time. When you talk, ask good questions, and keep listening. More information you get, you will have more ministry opportunities. When you say, you "will do something", get on it, don't let the moment sit, get on it, do it! Put in the time, and finish. There are more places to go, phones calls to make, packages to send and letters to write. Oh dear Lord, please give me and www.trinityassemblyofgod.org a long lifetime to share your love and be a blessing to others. Help us Lord Jesus to follow through and just do it! Hey, I'm looking for a few more packages of encouragement to send out! |
