dedicated to Milburn & Isabel Elmendorf who in my
college years encouraged me to not be a quitter
Milburn is now 93 years old
It is incredible! On one of my "on the road" stops I sent a ATWR radio station stream from the town where I used to do work for radio stations (KICK, & KRFG)!
God is good through the years.
There were times years ago in those college days and over the years, I had thought about quitting.
Don't we all deal with quitting something from time to time?
I came across poem written by a lady who went to the church I attended as a young student. Adele Flower Dalton wrote,
"If I should quit,
God's purpose would not fail.
Another hand would lift the torch
His message would prevail
But what of me?
How could I face the shame?
How could I bear the self-inflicted blame
If I should quit?
If I should quit,
What would my failure do
To those who labored at my side?
Would they be tempted too
To falter in our task or fall away?
When God should speak to them,
What would they say
If I should quit?
If I should quit,
How could I look into the face of Him
Who never faltered
Him who carried through?
His care for me in all my winding ways,
The suffering in His eyes
Would haunt my days
If I should quit."
I was recently ask,
"How has there been an AroundTheWorldRadio for almost the last five years, and Friends Forever TV in Jamaica (and the internet)?"
My response was simple,
"With the help of the Lord Jesus Christ, I didn't quit".
Let me encourage you today.
Don't Quit!
Keep praying, dreaming, and learning.

Remember when you go online put our internet radio station on and be encouraged with words and music.

Where you are today has purpose for now and the future. People are counting on you!
