Mickey Mouse Ears On!

When Jason Curry was a child he would only put on his hearing aid if his parents would put on Mickey Mouse ears to it!

The Mickey Mouse ears were Jason's comfort and encouragement to try!  Eventually, when he was 11 months old, it was discovered he was completely deaf.

Hearing is a benefit you can take for granted!  Sometimes we can take people for granted when we hear them and
don't listen.

Do you really listen when you hear someone?

Listening to others let's you learn about people and their:

*influences;
*disappointments;
*priorities;
*goals;
*and dreams!

You can know, comfort and encourage people when you take time to listen.  When you listen to be a help to others,
you become a dream-maker, not a dream-breaker!

A medical miracle occurred in Kansas City, Missouri at the start of the 21st Century!  Jason Curry at 30 years-old,
had a special microprocessor implanted in his right inner ear.  The implanted 'cochlear' stimulates nerve endings
and transmits sound to the brain!

When Jason's family gathered in the doctor's office, they put on Mickey Mouse ears!  The new inner ear hearing aid
help him hear his own first words say,

"I can hear!"

Be always grateful you can hear, but also list!

I Thessalonians 5:18 says (KJV), "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning
you."

Listen to what people are saying.  Listen with your ears, eyes, heart, and spirit. Be thankful and encourage somebody.
